GVMMY’s Picks: Bottomless Pit by Death Grips
Death Grips is arguably one of, if not, THE band responsible for popularizing the wave of industrial and punk-influenced hip-hop during the 2010s, with cult classics like “Exmilitary” and “The Money Store.” Along with “The Money Store,” “Bottomless Pit” feels like the most Death Grips-esque project, with the perfect blend of heavy electronic production, the exhilaration of metal, and their signature touches of industrial textures. Every song is an all-out rave banger and is an essential album for anyone trying to get into Death Grips and their sound.
