On March 9 and 10, the Skyline Crew team will be erging on a rowing machine for a total of 24 hours. The event will take place at Plum Market with the goal of raising money for the program.
Kit Bennett, head coach and founder of the Skyline Crew team has strived to make rowing accessible for all who are interested, including those who do not have the financial means to support their rowing journey.
“Philosophically, we have never turned away an athlete due to financial need,” Bennett says.
This fundraiser is essential to maintain the funds set aside for financial support in addition to contributing to the funds that are used to maintain and expand the team’s set of boats.
