Freshman Neva Siers stands outside the Michigan Theater after the showing of Selma. Although she claims to be someone who “doesnt like sad movies,” she was moved by the film. Siers was reminded of her time at the Women’s March on Washington by the protest scenes. She also found herself musing on the current president and his stance on equality during the film when chatting with her friends afterwards.
