They had been raising money for the past couple of days. “This week, people have really been stepping up and being a lot more active,” Gadepalli said. “We thought the best way that feminist club could contribute was by bringing back our annual candy gram fundraiser, but instead of keeping it to ourselves, donating it to a good cause.”

She had been looking forward to introducing Fox, who played a big role in her growth throughout high school. “Ellie has been a very important part of my high school experience, especially in journalism,” Amjadi Klass said. “It’s sad to see her leave, but I’m excited to see where life takes her.”

Their forum, the Silvester Forum, claimed the Spring Field Day title after not winning for several years. “It’s exciting to finally win,” Skerlos said. “This is the first Field Day my forum has won since I joined, and I hope there are many more to come.”
