“It was the summer going into eighth grade. The picture was taken at Machu Picchu in Peru. I was with my family, and four other families that traveled with us. We drove up to Machu Picchu from the lower city, and once we got up there we did a separate hike up a mountain called Huayna Picchu. We climbed that, and it was around a three hour hike round trip. I thought it was a really cool picture because at the angle the picture was taken the mountains were touching the clouds in a very unique way. Also the colors flowed together very well in the picture”
