“My friends and I were at the Halloween dance and we all made our costumes. We split up the work between us.We all wanted to be bugs and I was a firefly. We all researched our own bugs and then we designed outfits for them. A couple of us went thrifting and the rest helped with the headbands. The three of us, Emily, Eva and I, made wings and it was just really fun…I’ve always liked fireflies, and they’re one of the few bugs I’m not scared of. And when I was little, I used to catch them with my sister outside.”

Morgan McClease is a senior and is entering her 4th year on staff and 2nd year as a social media EIC. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching really bad 2000s TV shows and movies. When not at school you can find her at the dance studio or working at Sweetwaters making all kinds of drinks, her personal favorite is an apple cinnamon oat milk latte.
