On the morning of April 28, Community students met with their forums instead of going to class as usual. They were to leave the school and head to their assigned destinations around the city. The plan was to give back; to help the environment and clean up the community. So for three hours, rather than having each class for a short 30 minutes as they would have on this abnormal half-day, students and staff removed invasive plant species, created safe living environments for animals, and picked up litter.
