Cameron Payne plays drums at his final jazz concert. He will go on to study jazz drums at University of Michigan in the fall. Payne was wearing his ionic sunglasses which is a trope he began introducing at his shows earlier in the semester.
On May 12, at 6 p.m. Community High School’s jazz program performed their final concert of the year at The Ark, an international venue in downtown Ann Arbor. With a mix of nervousness and excitement, seniors and freshman alike filled the hallways of The Ark.
