Clara Bailey opens her acceptance letter from her first college. Bailey applied to Northern Michigan University at the start of November and heard back just two weeks later. “I feel relieved that I have one college acceptance in the bag,” Bailey said. “If, by some horrible stroke of luck, I don’t get into any more colleges, at least I know I’m going somewhere after high school.”

She had been looking forward to introducing Fox, who played a big role in her growth throughout high school. “Ellie has been a very important part of my high school experience, especially in journalism,” Amjadi Klass said. “It’s sad to see her leave, but I’m excited to see where life takes her.”
