The Community High School Slam of the Ann Arbor Youth Poetry Slam took place on March 4, 2011. More than 30 students participated in the slam and six moved onto the finals. Winners of the scored slam were as follows:

1st – Kerry Fingerle

2nd – Hind Omar

3rd – Jon Daniel

Six finalists from the CHS slam will move on to the Ann Arbor Youth Poetry Slam at the Neutral Zone on March 24: Kerry Fingerle, Hind Omar, Jon Daniel, Emmeline Ringquist, Mari Cohen, and Rachel Kerby. Watch videos of the Round 2 Poets below:
