Community High Students Create a Mural about the History of Kerrytown
Steve’s Advance Art class is creating a mural on 4th Ave and Ann St in front of a parking lot where a plain brown wall use to exist. The students learned from members of the community about the history of the Kerrytown area and it’s rich black history, and are incorporating not only influential individuals, including Albert Wheeler, Nancy Wheeler and Bryan Westfield, but important buildings in to the mural.
