Supreme Spring-Summer Preview

With the streetwear world buzzing over the unveiling of Supreme’s collaboration with Louis Vuitton- a company which formerly sued them for copyright infringement- anticipation for the upcoming season is at an all time high. The collaboration included a wide range of pieces showcased at the opening of  Paris Fashion Week that  were as jaw-dropping as they were extravagant. With price leaks listing the trunk collaboration at $68,500double the price of Louis Vuitton’s standard trunkthis collection will more than likely be exclusive to A-list celebrities and resale addicts as Supreme collections so often are. Fortunately, for those of us who find that a little out of our price range, Supreme has a long list of collaborations waiting for us in the upcoming season including the likes of: Van Gogh, Terry Richardson, Nike, Rap-A-Lot Records and many more. Although hypebeast’s have taken over the streetwear industry, I have high hopes for the upcoming season to bring Supreme back to its roots; back to the skate culture that cemented this iconic brand in the world of fashion, and away from companies such as Louis Vuitton.
