If you were to ask a Community student to describe the mathematics teacher Anne Thomas, endearing, passionate and energetic would be among the words used. Anne is known by everyone in the school, and is praised for her love of math that makes each of her classes intriguing and enjoyable. However, if you were to ask about her life before teaching, the answers would be a bit more unclear. We sat down with Anne to learn more about her experiences at the University of Michigan, where she attended college, and her path to becoming a teacher.
