Movie Review: “Star Wars: Ahsoka”

Movie Review: “Star Wars: Ahsoka”

“Star Wars: Ahsoka” provides an intriguing premise: one of the last Jedi left in the galaxy is on a quest to stop her past nemesis from returning.

The show is enjoyable, but suffers from a lack of backstory. The context behind the show’s events is never fully explained and as such, viewers less familiar with Star Wars may be left feeling confused. Despite this, the story is engaging and features exciting twists and big moments for viewers to discover.

Acting, CGI and sound are up to par for a Disney product, but don’t stand out. “Star Wars: Ahsoka” delivers an appealing self-contained story and provides a platform for future Star Wars media to build off of. Those who enjoy Star Wars or action-adventure TV will find “Star Wars: Ahsoka” enjoyable.
