With 85 graduating seniors participating, Tuesday, February 3rd marked the kickoff of the annual Community High School spork game. Organized by the senior class body, students bought and sold sporks for $10 each in the weeks leading up.
The rules in the spork game are simple: have your spork on you at all times, don’t spork in a spork free zone and make sure to get a photo or video of the “kill.” Spork-free zones include designated classrooms, the climbing gym, at work and during practice for sports/theater. Official rules can be found here.
Through formed alliances, bounties and rivalries, each participating senior will push their way towards their final goal: make it to graduation without getting sporked. Over the course of several months, spork-ers will be on their A game to ensure they don’t get sporked. The remaining seniors at the end of the game will split half the money that was collected by the purchase of the sporks — about 400 dollars.
