“It was during one of my finals, I had planned to hang out with a friend after school and I had to cancel because my dad needed to pick me up and take me to the hospital to meet with that family member. she’s doing okay now, she’ll be okay. She smoked a lot. She has a breathing problem, because of that she has lung issues, but other than that she just needs to take it a little bit easier and quit smoking. So now she has nicotine gum and things to help her quit that. She’s like one of the cool family members I have. I’m not really that associated with my mom’s side so this was like the grandma that actually wants me around and actually wants to do things with me. So it just kind of it hurts but I need to keep moving forward, because she wouldn’t want me to dwell on this very long. I know if she talked to me she probably slap me upside the head and just say ‘why the fuck are you on this. You need to move forward because you have a life too I’m always in your corner, no matter what. and you need to focus on your life.’”
