Josh Boland is a senior and in his second year on the Communicator staff.  Josh has a great interest in photography which he devotes lots of time to doing. He also enjoys playing soccer, watching sports with friends, and traveling. Josh is hoping to attend a college with great student media opportunities and good athletic programs which he can photograph.

Ann Arbor’s downtown area has seen 27 high-rise developments built in recent years. The need for more affordable housing hasn’t received as much attention as the more expensive high-rises that are being built. “Denser population is the way we are going in the future. Less transportation is necessary,” Coetzee said.

The Focus Group performed at the Battle of the Bands on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020. Drummer, Jack DeBona recently found an interest in writing his own music, and his band performed one of his originals. I play along with different songs, DeBona said. I’ve tried to model songs that I have written after songs that I like.
