Wednesday, May 15, members of Community Ensemble Theater swarmed to the Craft Theater to clean up after their last play “Just Desserts,” but also to elect their student board for the coming school year. Any student who had participated in “Evita,” “Julius Caesar” or “Just Desserts” could come and vote, including this year’s senior class.
CET’s new president for the 2013-2014 season will be Briana O’Neal, who ran on a platform of bridging the gap between crew and cast members and bringing in more new freshmen. Supporting her as vice president will be Morgan Harvey, who emphasized her approachable nature and organizing skills in her one minute campaign speech.
Louis Hochtser will be returning to the CET board as Publicity Secretary for his second year, along with three new board members: current junior Alexandra Cubero-Matos as Merchandise Manager, sophomore Emily Brod as Program and Ad Sales Coordinator and freshman Joseph Ferraro as Underclassman Representative.
