Ellie is a junior at CHS, and is entering her first year in journalism. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, theater, listening to music, and reading. Her favorite book that she read this past summer was ‘The Night Circus’ by Erin Morgenstern. She is very excited to work on The Communicator this year and cannot wait to start!

Seniors Isaiah Horton and Ryan Grant walk into their forum room on senior send off day. Johnson Forum had set up cake, popcorn, and goodbye gifts for them. “I really enjoy senior send off,” Ellie Fox, a junior in Johnson Forum, said. “It gives us one last time to really celebrate and say goodbye to our seniors. It was especially important to me this year because it was the last send off before my own.”

Ellie Fox, CHS junior and photography editor, is a little foreign to basketball. Although she had her camera, which she often uses to express herself. "I really enjoyed taking photos of the staff vs. student game," Fox said. "Basketball isn’t a sport I usually watch, so seeing students and teachers face off was a fun way to get into an activity that I’m not super familiar with. Being able to capture those moments important to the game on my camera is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer.”

Forum Council Presidential candidates Nic Villamor, Mallory Towers and Piper Cooke sit in town hall, watching the Vice-Presidential candidates speak. Villamor, Towers and Cooke had just finished speaking to students about their policies and goals for FoCo. "I was really nervous at first because I underestimated my public speaking skills," Villamor said. "When I got on stage, I just remembered to be my genuine self and then it went amazingly."
